Here is a picture of my daddy outside of his CHU (contained housing unit) also known as his hooch. He is very fortunate to have it all to himself. This time he even gets a bathroom and shares it with another Major.
Here he is on a road in Baghdad where Saddam used to march his Army. Note the cross swords in the background.
And finally here he is in front of his Humvee at one of the check points. Average temperature during September is about 112 degrees. Imagine that plus all the heavy protective gear!

So I hope they give you lots and lots of food and water cuz you must burn off a whack of calories with that many clothes and that kinda heat! sheesh! Those crossed swords are something else, huh? What an amazing place, Boo, and so much history....Take care of yerself!! ♥
